Thanksgiving with family and friends

Hello all! I hope you had as good of a Thanksgiving as I did. It was so good, it lasted 4 days!!!! Thanksgiving I have been Aunt n Uncle's this year. At Thanksgiving I found out my cousin's were having a party on Saturday. Apparently they have this every year. They call it Thankmas. They decided there needed to be a holiday between Thanksgiving and Christmas so there are decorations for both, food of course, and even Santa makes a visit. Now my Aunt has 7 kids so there are lots of people there when you add all their spouses, kids, and friends too. It was great fun. I also had dinner and went to a movie with my two best friends. I also took my neice and nephew to lunch and saw a movie with them.
The only dark spot is a major one, I think going to my Aunt's really hurt my Mom's feelings and she won't return my calls or emails. She even took me off her junk email list and that is bad. I'm afraid she won't speak to me again for 2 more years. Like I said before I have been to my Aunt's for the past several years, it's one of the 2 times a year I get to see my cousins and my Mom usually eats out with my brother, so I don't know why she is so hurt this year. I have called and called, I have emailed her. I emailed her and told her I'm sorry if she is hurt. I asked her via email and phone to go to lunch and the movies with the kids and I. I don't know what to do next, any suggestions?

Hi Chelly! Wow sounds like you had a wonderful time. I love the Thankmas idea. I know how hard It is to get everyone together. We had our family dinner last night. I'm sorry that you are going through that with your mom. Wish I could help.
