Not Here For A While Due To Pain

I haven't been on here in a long time due to the pain, and plus going on the computer was a problem with my eyes.
I'm so tired of the pain! It seems like the pain never stops. I never get a remission from the pain. I try to say, "tomorrow will be a better day". The fog is driving me nuts too. I keep forgetting things. The fatigue is bad also. I get tired so easily also, which I know happens with fibro. I haven't been sleeping too well, and then I end up waking up around 3am, with pain and I then go out to my recliner which has heat in the back, and I sleep out there, but it's not a restful sleep. If I sleep till 6:30, I'm in heaven...lol...
Two weeks ago, I flew to Florida, and my youngest son met me there, and we brought my brother home to live with my husband and myself. My brother was on the job, and he was on a ladder which was 30' high, and he fell off. He was so lucky he didn't die, but he now has brain damage. He is somewhat child-like, but then his adult side kicks in. I'm so tired from the trip to Florida, and now we have all this shopping to do for him. I know I'm taking on a lot with him here, but I haven't seen him in 5 years, and he's able to do some things for himself which makes it a little easier on me. His boss never called to let us know what happened though. He did pay for all the medical bills, and some other things that needed paying. When Jim knew he couldn't go back to work, his boss cancelled his medical insurance. So it's all for the best that he's with us. We don't have any family other than our son's so now my brother will be here too which will be so nice during the holidays.
So now I'll be keeping a journal of how things are going, and I'm so glad to be back on this site again.

sorry to hear about your pain and the accident. I will pray for you and your family. I suffer from RSD and Lupus and RA. and YES it is very hard to sleep. I sleep at the most 3 hours a night which is not enough sleep, and I wish the pain would go away also for even just one night... Thanks for the posting.....It was good to read something new on here.
