The one thing my husband and I found out that some had in common was someone in the family that was a butcher. I know seems oddd but please read on.
My mother was a butcher, my sister Anita was married to a butcher. After I married one of my husband's collegues mother had Lupus and she was a butcher. My husband spoke to his cousin Vincent last week & he said that a friend of his, mother has Lupus and she is a butcher. I was watching dateline and they did an interview on one of the patients and her father was a butcher.
I know it sounds crazy but can there be a connection.?

I have joined many Lupus groups and donate money to sponsor walks. Kudos to those that do whatever they can by walking or selling items to go to find a cure for Lupus.

QUESTIONS & FEARS??(Although some read other member pages, questions are best to be entered and type in the FORUM :)

Failing in my attempt to find healing and suffering more for my own stubbornness w/ not taking the medications everyone thinks I should be taking. Causing my family more trial. Losing someone in my family to whatever tragedy.

Favorite pastimes? (You may want to share in GROUPS!! :)

Used to LIVE to play volleyball. Plan to again someday. Write songs w/ my guitar. Watch my kids grow. Snuggle into a warm blanket on a rainy day w/ a good book. Dance!!! I'll do that again someday, too.

Do you find this site helpful from what you have seen on the main page and anywhere else you may have looked at? Any suggestions or ideas?

Living a lie

How many times in a day does somebody ask "How are you?" and I lie? I'm fine, thanks, and you? What should I really say? Should I tell them I couldn't move when I woke up because I was in so much pain? Or that I feel like I'm going to drop my baby every time I pick him up?
