I had an appt with the rhuemy again on Weds and low and behold even tho my bloodwork was borderline diagnosed me with SLE. Duh! I know my body and I knew something was wrong. Nobody believed me and at least now I have validation. I have mixed feelings about that tho'....I have an answer so yay for me! I am NOT crazy and not a hypochondriac. BUT at the same time nobody wants to hear they are sick! My kids would say I was lazy and ask "Why are you sick ALL the time?" It has only been 2 years for me trying to find an answer and I know it takes others forever to find out but I am persistent and kept going to any doctor I could and demanding to know what was wrong with me. On my good days I do what I can and rest in between but when I am really in pain and fatiqued I rest or I get in really bad shape. I support YOU and EVERYONE on here. I know how it feels to be so sick! The thing is when you don't look sick ppl tend to not believe you. I have to have a sleep study this weekend and also have to have some skin lesions biopsied on the 30th. I feel your pain and I am here ANY time you need a shoulder to cry on! She only see's us a few times a year, and at that she is nothing but negative. She still critisizes me for things I did 20 years ago. She makes me cry everyday. I do the BEST I can!!! I do take of my kids the best I can ALone! I do the same as you on my bad days. I put movies on for my little ones, and lay in bed and snuggle with them. I give my kids alot of love, huggs , kisses, and let them know that everyday I love them. I try to explain the best I can whats going on, and why mommy is so sick, 4 of my kids are in school all day, and I have one home which starts kindergarden in september... I know the smoking is bad, and I also and trying to quit, but right now its my only vent. I am even working with the doctor to quit, but she wouldnt know that because she has NEVER gone to a doctor appt with me in years...She says she is too busy for me...She spends very little time with any of the grandchilden...Not only mine she has 9...Thank-you for repsonding to her, but I will never let her take my kids she is a bad infleunce on them and makes things worse...

I have lupus and sjordems(sp), depression and, anxiety. fibro,raynaud, and osteoporisis.

UGGGG Im sick!!:(

I have trying to fight off an infection for a few weeks. but as I sit here, I can feel something is going to my lungs luckily I have a doctors appointment tomorrow. Talk about good timing. My mouth is full of ulcers, i have done laundry for 3 days straight, which is a no no for us lupies since i have to go down 14 stairs to the laundry room and 14 up to fold. talk about exhausting. You would think they would know

My family has been with me from the get go of the lupus saga.. My mom today asked why didn't I shovel the drive way???WTH?? I told I would but then I would be in the hospital with bronchital pneumonia and a major flare.. My sister(whom I live with for now) thinks Im wonder woman..
