How do you get through it? I find myself taking anti-anxiety meds to keep from thinking about suicide. I am so tired of being depressed. Obivously the anti depressant isn't enough. Finally after being in this black hole for sooo long. I am physically better. But mentally empty. Drained from life. Drained from Lupus. I don't like change. And lupus has changed me. flaring again and in need of a vent

Why is it that one month I feel great and in a blink of an eye, I start to crash again. About three weeks ago a got a rash on my arms and chest. No big deal. It didn't itch but every once in a while and I thought it would go away. I just happened to have a GYN appt and I asked her to look at it. And as with any of my rashes or skin things she just said "wow! I've never seen anything like it." It never gets old hear that. She suggested that my rheummy needed to see it. CellCept. It's a miracle

Finally, I am starting to feel normal again. It's like I have been in a fog for 6 months. I don't hurt every minute of every day. The pain meds are almost never used instead of every 2 hours. Other than the GI upset and being in the bathroom every 2 hours, it is am amazing drug. I have tried some many combinations. Arava and CellCept is magically. I never thought I would get better. Down to 7mg of prednisone. The weight is still there but I know it will take time to get it off. This month, I act… Continue

Even though I know he will never read this...(b/c I never told him about it...hahah), I thank you for being there. No matter how blue I was feeling, he reminded my that I was strong, and funny and that I can still swing. He built me back up when I was so down on myself. I wish I could have done the same for him.

Keep on truckin'

Lupus has been my life now for 6 months. I have fought every step of the way. Now on the 3rd combo of meds...I just want something to work. As a nurse, I never thought I would get sick and disabled at 29. It literally kicked me in the ass and off my game. Everything was fine on minute and not the next.
