OR are you here supporting someone?: Lupus, specifically SLE, degenerative disk disease, herniated disks in thoracic and lumbar spine, fractured vertebra in thoracic area, carpal tunnel syndrome, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, restless leg syndrome, COPD, depression (imagine that!!), RA and now migraines.

Favorite pastimes? (You may want to share in GROUPS!! :): Taking care of my family, herb gardening, practicing/studying Wicca, my cats, crocheting (helps with carpal tunnel), rehabbing my 110 year old victorian house, watching the squirrels in my front yard do the "squirrel happy dance" and hanging out at this site!

My Son Greg Takes The Most Beautiful Photos For Me

Well it's spring again, thank the Goddess, and Gregory has already been out in my herb garden hunting butterflies for me. We already have butterflies, a pair of house wrens living in a gourd on our porch, a new bullfrog who moved into our pond yesterday and our hummingbirds are back. To my Greg I have to, again, say thanks Kiddo, I Love You, especially for all the little things like this that you do for me.

Medicare, the Medigap and me

So I order my prescriptions, the ones I'll be on forever, through the mail. One of them the doctor screwed up so she has to send them a new one...the other they were filling. Normally, I pay $42.00 for this prescription. I know that I am now in what they call the "medigap" or "donut hole" in Medicare. I have a supplemental policy that covers that gap. I went out of my way to research and learn about this to avoid paying 100% for my scripts.

Social Security Disability

I have finally won my disability case...I just got the letter saying the decision is "fully favorable". I first applied in March 07, so my whole case only took 14 months from start to approval. I hope this gives some hope to those who are still waiting.

Well, I think, my dad wanted a boy, but instead, my mom and dad, had me, I was named after my father's father, and guess what, his name was, "Carl". :-)

Yes, we do have a lot in common!!!

I just found out, I have a thoracic and lumbar spine injury. I went through the Full Body Cavity MRI, where, my head was in a Football Helmet and the MRI was 3 Hours long, with a 15 minute break, taking a full body image.

I am in Chronic Pain, where there are days, I want to die. If you wouldn't mind, "how do you deal with your Chronic Back Pain"???
