Solo got her name from being the only kitten in her litter. Isn't she beautiful? Hello everyone, and welcome to this group. My name is Mary (HeartTugs) and this is me with my husband Mike in the photo below, and if you know me you know two things....I have Fibromyalgia, and I love all animals but have a special bond with cats. God gave me a heart for them and I can't resist their draw to me. Let's share our stories!

Comment by HeartTugs on February 23, 2009 at 1:40pm: I spend some of my time on our 3 acre farm (Sparrowhawk Creek Acres), and other times in a 23' RV near where my husband works. My two kitties go where I go and have adapted well to traveling. Their antics never fail to bring a smile to my face.

Last week I was desperately trying to get bills in order and paid. Do you think I could get a moments peace to do that chore???....NO But, it was hilarious. Oliver insisted on laying on my chest most of the day. When he wasn't doing that, he was into something ..... such as when he came out of the RV bathroom carrying a roll of toilet paper that had been left on the counter! I try to keep the tp hidden in the cabinet, but this roll had been left in "catview". He looked so funny that I just had to laugh.

Winston has decided that his bed in the RV is the bathroom sink. I can find him in there often during the day or night. A problem with this is that there isn't room for two kitties in the sink, so Oliver sits on the floor and cries. Winston makes the best of each situation and Oliver complains....never fails, lol. Winston is more independant (and a Daddy's boy), and most of the time Oliver isn't happy if he gets more than 10 feet away from me.

Now, would I have let the kitties on the sink before I developed Fibromyalgia??? NO WAY! Today I have accepted that I am out of control in some areas of my life, and I have to pick my battles with the kitties. I don't have the energy to keep up with them in every situation. I wipe the sink off more often than I used to and they aren't allowed to sharpen their claws on the fabric. I kinda think it is a fair trade, lol.

I just wanted to tell you and everyone here, that the day after Thanksgiving Jon and I rescued another Siberian Husky. She's a brownish red and white with blue eyes and she's 3 yrs. old and her name is Mya. She fits in beautifully here, and a great addition to the family. She and my other husky, Sapphire, are vieing to see who is going to be the top dog here, but that's Sapphire, and Mya hasn't recognized that yet. She will. She's great on a leash which is good for me if I walk her she won't pull me down. She is a counter surfer which Jon and I found out on New Year's Eve. I just wanted to let you know that we did get one, and I have some pictures of her on my page. Just wanted to share this with you and everyone here. Thanks for creating this page. When I figure out how to post a picture here, I'll do it. Happy 2009 everyone.

She will Stop in her tracks if I am having trouble walking. She has had NO trainig for this. She stays beside me when I am not feeling so good. I talk to her and it seems as though she is listening, because she looks up at me- I just love her.

I have fibro and only god knows what eles. My pets help me deal with the pain. Its there love, and cuddling that helps me threw each painful day.
